Set between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, this Art Deco boutique-size 1936 hotel is in the middle of Miami Beach. The boardwalk, a half-block from the hotel, runs parallel to the ocean from 42nd Street (where the hotel is) down to the beginning of the official Art Deco District. So guests can walk down to South Beach on the boardwalk for restaurants, shops, and nightlife.
The lobby of the Ocean Spray Miami Beach Hotel contains the original terrazzo floor. Art Deco “eyebrows” (layers of ledges above the doorway) are visible on the exterior. Renovated and re-opened in 2003, the Ocean Spray has new, clean, furnishings, many European. The front porch contains Philippe Starck Bubble Club patio furniture. Guests receive a daily complimentary breakfast, and fruit and beverages are available all day, free of charge.

The seven-story Ocean Spray Miami Beach Hotel has 54 guestrooms with city views (often of the building next door), bay views, or partial ocean views.
Rooms are simply but comfortably equipped, with a mix of modern European and Art Deco-inspired furnishings. All vary slightly. Some have pale-wood asymmetrical headboards, full-length mirrors, and closets. All rooms have CD players, compact refrigerators, and white-tile bathrooms with shower/tub combinations, vessel sinks, and ProTerra bath amenities. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.
